The Department of Management in the School of Business at West Chester University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management, with primary teaching and research specialization in corporate governance, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility, and a secondary teaching and research interest in human resource management. Position is at the assistant/associate professor level and will begin fall semester (August 2021).
Responsibilities include teaching courses in business and society, principles of management, and human resource management at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising students, conducting research, and participating in academic and professional activities. Teaching assignments will include opportunities for teaching at WCU's Philadelphia campus, other off-campus sites, and/or through distance learning.
A Ph.D. or D.B.A. or candidacy for the Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or related field from an AACSB-accredited school;
Teaching experience in a business school at the undergraduate level is required, as well as a proven research record or a demonstration of research capability.
Additional work experience in the coursework to be taught is preferred.
Finalists must successfully complete the interview process and give a teaching demonstration. Finalists must be A.B.D., or have received their Ph.D. within the last three years, or have a Ph.D. and scholarship that fulfills West Chester University’s Scholarly Academic requirements.
