The Department of Economics and Business at Southwestern University invites applications from qualified candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business faculty member to join an innovative liberal arts undergraduate business education department starting the fall semester of 2021. 

Position. Our highest priority for this tenure-track position in Business is for a candidate with disciplinary expertise in management and the ability to create and teach interdisciplinary courses.  Our preference is to have candidates with an interest and experience in teaching courses such as strategic management, global strategy, business ethics, nonprofit management, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, leadership, and/or negotiations. However, candidates with teaching and research interests in any management area are encouraged to apply. We especially encourage applications from those able to contribute to the university’s strong interdisciplinary programs in Environmental Studies, Latin American and Border Studies, Race and Ethnicity Studies, and Feminist Studies, and a variety of interdisciplinary minors including International Studies, Health Studies, and Data Science. Qualifications. A Ph.D. in management or related field is required.  Ph.D. completed by August 2020 is preferred, but ABDs will be considered.  Significant industry experience will also be considered in candidate evaluation.
